Nobody is going to hand you a luxurious summer. You have to build it yourself, and the good news is, it costs a lot less than you’d think.
I’ve been on this kick lately where I try to make ordinary Tuesday mornings feel a little special. Not Pinterest-level orchestrated. Just nice. Intentional. Like someone who actually enjoys her own life made these choices.
Here are three small things I added to my summer that have made a disproportionate difference.
A Tote That Makes You Feel Like You Have It Together
There’s something about carrying a beautiful bag that changes the energy of everything you’re doing. Running errands becomes a little more elegant. Packing for a beach day feels like an event.
I’ve been carrying a buttery soft leather tote this summer and it’s one of those investments that genuinely paid off immediately. It fits everything: towels, books, snacks, sunscreen, my entire life, and it looks good doing it. The leather gets better with use, which is exactly the kind of thing I want in something I carry every day.

Outdoor Dinners, but Make Them Pretty
My husband and I have been eating outside almost every night this summer, and it started as just a practical thing (the kitchen gets hot) but has turned into one of my favorite parts of the day.
What made the difference was getting a real outdoor tablecloth, one that feels like you actually tried, not like you grabbed whatever was in the linen closet. This blue floral linen tablecloth is what I found, and it’s made our porch feel like a proper dining destination. Twenty minutes of effort, an hour of magic.

The Drink That Actually Tastes Like Summer
I can’t explain why this made the list except that it genuinely upgraded my everyday life and I feel like you need to know about it.
Spindrift Sparkling Water, the lemon or the raspberry lime, is what I’ve been drinking all summer and it makes everything feel more festive than it is. Pouring one of these into a nice glass at 5pm is my version of a ritual. The day shifts. Things feel lighter.

Here’s what I want you to take from this: the luxurious summer you want doesn’t require a vacation budget. It requires paying a little more attention to the ordinary moments and deciding they’re worth making beautiful.
A good bag. A pretty table. A drink that makes you happy. That’s not small. That’s a summer.
What’s your little luxury this summer? I want to know.
